Swift Viewing Party with Swift Cider

Thursday September 22nd, Arch Bridge Taphouse is hosting Swift Cider while celebrating the spectacular display put on by the company namesake, the Vaux's Swift. A population of Swifts uses a chimney across the street from Arch Bridge Taphouse to roost during their annual migratory journey to Central America. Their evening roosting ritual is visually mesmerizing and peaks mid September.
Swift Cider is a small Portland based craft cidery. The event will feature one of our favorite Ciders, Swift marionberry as well as the fall release of Swift Cider's Newton Pippin cider, a special small batch cider, using one of the most coveted American apple varietals, the Newton Pippin. Newton Pippin is a prized for its historical relevance in American History and the wonderful balanced quality it imparts as a cider apple. Come on out and enjoy delicious cider, meet some great folks from Swift, and enjoy the spectacular display put on by these amazing aerialists.
